"Upside Down" acrylic painting by collaborative artists Ira and Corliss Lesser 1999 20" x 46" 51cm x 117cm |
"Upside down" June 1998 Ira: In this picture the'classical ideal' contemplates a holocaust victim asking; what have we done, where are we going? On one hand we're cleaner, have welfare, and make great machines , on the other hand we have weapons that can make the holocaust seem a mere trifle. Will we ever grow up and achieve our true potential or our we destined to evaporate in a giant tantrum.
